GUIDED CEDERBERG HIKING - 3 DAY HIKES
From the Sanddrif area we’ll guide you to the best of Cederberg’s monumental treasures. Our first hike is to the enormous Cederberg Maltese Cross. This giant free standing sandstone pillar is a fantastic spectacle while behind it is Sneeuberg, the highest peak in the Cederberg Range. Hiking to the Maltese cross reveals are lovely views over the Cederberg mountains
Our next guided hike is to the Wolfberg Arch. The trail ascends through the Wolfberg Cracks, gaining elevation over the Matjies river and providing excellent photo opportunities. Of course, the grand prize is Cederberg’s Wolfberg Arch itself, colossal & beautiful it’s a grand reward for the effort of this hike.
Lastly, a gentle walk to the wonderland of the Stadsaal Caves, here the light and shadows dance around the Sandstone pillars and tunnels while the San Rock Art nearby tells the story of when Elephants were common in the Cederberg.
